Course work should include at least one course in epidemiology and a second course in a closely related subject area such as: Biostatistics, Vital and Medical Statistics, Informatics, Survey Sampling and Design, etc. A master’s or doctoral candidate in a field above may be considered so long as the graduate work is completed within one (1) year of employment.

Minimum qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Appropriate health related experience (aide in nursing home, hospital or home health agency) may substitute for the education requirements on a year for year basis for a maximum of four (4) years.
2302 Home Health Aide $8.10
Minimum qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Appropriate aide related experience may substitute for education requirements on a year for year basis for a maximum of four (4) years. Experience as an aide in a home health agency, community health agency, nursing facility or hospital, all or part of which must have been in the previous 24 months prior to application for employment. To become permanent, an employee must pass a competency evaluation prior to completing the probationary period. An individual employed in this position must maintain continued fulfillment of the required competency evaluation approved by the Cabinet for Health Services.

Minimum qualifications: Must be a licensed dietitian (LD) as provided by the Kentucky Board of Licensure and Certification as provided in KRS 310.021 or be certified as a Certified Nutritionist (CN) by the Kentucky State Board of Licensure and Certification as provided in KRS 310.031. One (1) year of experience as a Licensed Dietitian/Certified Nutritionist or one (1) year providing Medical Nutrition Therapy and successful demonstration of the competencies for the MNT Nutritionist I. Must have completed training as outlined in the PHPR. A Masters degree in human nutrition, dietetics, food and nutrition, community nutrition, food systems management or related area (e.g. Human and Environmental Sciences, Home Economics/Home Economics Education) may be substituted for one (1) year experience.

Minimum qualifications: Elementary education. (Elementary education is defined as the eighth grade) Up to 3 months experience helpful, but not required. On the job training acceptable.
5004 Maintenance Person $7.81
Minimum qualifications: Elementary school (eighth grade) education. Three (3) years experience in building maintenance, janitorial services or related work.
